This class is designed to develop bike handling skills, broaden awareness and build confidence.
Once a rider can pedal and balance in a large open space they need to buid their skills in a controled, safe, environment which resembles real life scenarios.
Participant skills may vary quite a bit, however, instructors will assess each rider and provide an appropriately challenging skill to work on. Skills will build in complexity and require a reasonable level of mastery before progressing to the next challenge.
Skills may include:
Straight line riding with progressive challenges of scanning, signaling, stopping, starting, standing, incline and more.
Hazard avoidance maneuvers and identification.
Turning with precision and speed.
Riding with spacial awareness of other riders and various objects.
